Celebrating Artek heritage, the series features posters by leading contemporary designers and artists.

One of a series created to celebrate Artek’s history, this poster features Pendant Light A331 “Beehive,” the iconic light designed by Alvar Aalto for the University of Jyväskylä, Finland in 1953. Made of recycled paper, each poster in the Icon Series is silkscreen printed. Designed by Berlin-based graphic design studio Greige, Beehive Poster measures 50 by 70 cms.

This poster features a well-loved Pirkka Chair, a tangible example of the longevity of Artek furnishings. In 2011, Artek celebrated its 76th anniversary by opening an Artek 2nd Cycle store in Helsinki. 2nd Cycle Pirkka Poster is printed on Munken Lynx paper and measures 50 by 70 cms.
DOMUS ANNIVERSARY POSTER

This poster depicts a hand-drawn Domus Chair viewed from above. The handwriting on the chair’s seat commemorates designer Ilmari Tapiovaara and the year the Domus Chair was created. The poster was designed by Akira Minagawa in 2016 to celebrate 70 years of the Domus Chair. Domus Anniversary Poster is printed on Munken Lynx Rough paper and measures 50 by 70 cms.

ARTEK 75 ANNIVERSARY POSTER

Depicting a hillside, a single tree against the skyline, and the iconic Zebra print associated with Artek since the 1930s, the poster references Artek’s affinity with nature and natural materials.
