Office accessories designed by Michel Charlot introduce unusual organic- shaped designs to the usually austere office environment.
Inspired by cartoons and sculptures, the different containers add a cheerful touch that will brighten up any setting.
O-Tidy is a useful, versatile storage container perfectly at home on desks, kitchen worktops or sideboards. The design not only offers a tray and cup function but also combines their simple shapes into a new, perfectly proportioned object.
O-Tidy by Michel Charlot is a practical, versatile organiser, which combines the simple shapes of a cup and dish in one. O-Tidy is made of robust plastic and comes in a selection of colours.
DESIGNER
MICHEL CHARLOT
After completing a degree in industrial design at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne (ECAL), Swiss designer Michel Charlot worked for Jasper Morrison Ltd in Paris, London and Tokyo.
In 2011 he set up his own studio in Basel and started developing products for companies such as NAVA Design, Eternit, Camper and Belux.
He has worked with Vitra since 2013.Charlot's aim is to achieve an efficient unity of conception, design and production.
He has won several prizes and exhibited his work at numerous venues in Luxembourg, Switzerland and the United States.Since 2013, he has taught industrial design at ECAL and Tama Art University in Tokyo.
