Alessi Bottle Rack – Barkcellar
BARKCELLAR
BARKCELLAR
The bottle rack “Barkcellar” is the result of a collection designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui inspiered by the trees that surround their house in Lucca.
Produced at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna, the bottle rack in the “Bark” range demonstrates, like the other objects in this collection, Alessi’s skill in processing steel.
Through subsequent processing stages, the metal sheet is cut, laser perforated, bent and lastly welded, so as to obtain the organic and sinuous shape drawn by the designers. This manufacturing expertise makes it possible to use steel to create an object onto which an organic and natural memory has been impressed.
This is an object with an expressive design, an item of interior furnishing capable of enhancing the value of its setting wherever it is used.
