DESIGNER
CHIARAMONTE MARIN
The passion for objects meant as industrial products is the glue of the professional partnership between Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin, promoting partners of the homonymous Designstudio. The different activities experienced through the years (interiors, graphics, industrial and lighting design) brought to a mixed knowledge, contaminated by ideas developed in many fields.
The long term working experience with the glass factories of Murano allowed blending two industries seemingly different, with the creation of a range of glassware blown by Nasomoretti for Emugroup, respectively leading firms in Murano glass and outdoor furniture. Alfredo Chiaramonte was born in Bologna in 1961 and studied at the Faculty of Architecture of Venice.
Marco Marin was born in Venice in 1964 and graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts specializing in industrial design.
They worked together with well known companies such as Miniforms, Emu Group, Bonaldo, Vistosi, Nasonmoretti, Andromeda International, Hoffman Italia, Renault Italia, Moulinex, Artificia, Gemina Publishing Group. They teached at the European Center for preservation of the architectural heritage in Venice. Through the years they received many recognitions and some of their works have been exposed in the permanent collections of International Museums, like Museo Correr in Venice, Beaubourg in Paris, Moma in San Francisco and the Venice Biennale when they worked with Yoko Ono.-9

WARRANTY
The products of the EMU range are guaranteed for two years against structural defects not caused by improper use or lack of maintenance and invasive oxidation not caused by scratches or abrasions due to use, which cannot be removed with routine cleaning and maintenance. Small irregularities on the surface of the product are characteristics of the special paint used and have no impact whatsoever on the intrinsic protective quality of the product itself. Should you wish to make use of the warranty, the faulty item and the receipt must be taken back to the retailer. EMU Group S.p.A. disclaims any liability for damage to property or injuries to people resulting from incorrect use of the product. The warranty does not include any type of service or repair for the product or its damaged parts.
MAINTENANCE
Avoid prolonged contact with greasy substances and/or dyes, which may be absorbed by the coating material, causing permanent staining and deterioration of the yarn structure. Frequent washing: use water and non-abrasive, colourless liquid detergents with neutral PH. Leave the detergent to react for a few minutes, if required Rinse thoroughly with water at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. If pressurised devices are used, keep the diffuser tip at least 60/70 cm away from the surface of the item. Repeat the operation if necessary.
Periodic and/or extraordinary washing: use a regenerating stain remover for PVC, following the procedure below. Operations to be performed: – apply the stain remover to the dirty fabric; – allow the product to act for 15-30 minutes; – rub the stained area using a common hard-bristle laundry brush (phase is necessary since the dirt is inside the weaving); – rinse with running water (if possible rinse using a high-pressure cleaner, remaining at a distance of approx. 60 cm so as not to damage the fabric with the high pressure); – repeat the operations if necessary. Note: when applying the product, pay attention not to apply it to the painted parts of the product.
