DESIGNER
ALESSANDRO GORLA
Designer, event curator, scenographer and project manager. He was an active player in the context of Milan underground scene, where he completed several transverse projects and installations for clients such as Atelier Mendini, Calvin Klein Jeans, il Civico Museo di Storia Naturale, B-Ticino. He moved to Rome in 2002, where he worked as a scenographer for several main events organized by Nike, Coca Cola, Pitti Uomo Firenze, Goa, SEAT and Nastro Azzurro and as curator of visuals for Yellow Hostel.
Moreover, he had several scenography experiences in theatre and music, including the cooperation with Auditorium Parco della Musica for the concert by Giulia Ananìa and Niccolò Fabi. His works of art have been exhibited in several galleries in Rome and he has also been recently selected to join the Biennale d’Arte exhibition in Dubai in 2014/2015. He also worked as teaching assistant with Prof. Gino Finizio at “La Sapienza” University in Rome during courses of Product Design and currently works on several projects in cooperation with several Design Firms such as Isao Hosoe, Claudio Bellini, Christian Grande and companies such as Ferrari, Tucano, Piaggio. He teaches courses in Design Management and Project Management in several Italian and foreign Universities, focusing on workshops about integration of creative, technical, market-driven and production-based approaches. In 2013 he founded “Studio Algoritmo” where he is in charge of Product, Interior and Graphic Design.
