Already since the beginning of the 70-s Hans Hansen redesigned undogmatic, puristic and multifunctional furniture and living accessories for open minded people, who prefer to express their life-style in the Scandinavian way.
(Closer to nature, closer to yourself) Furniture and accessories of Hans Hansen represent spirit and tradition of the Bauhaus: "Less is more", rich in function, durable materials and a guarantee of highest quality for private and public spaces. His fascination formed and inspired the entire Hansen Family, all members enthusiastically love modern architecture and design-furniture. Daughter Gesa, (studied Design at Bauhaus-University, Weimar) founded her own successful design label THE HANSEN FAMILY and received numerous global awards.
In 2014 she was elected "YOUNG DESIGNER OF THE YEAR" by her mentor, the famous designer Werner Aisslinger. Hans Hansen products got the „red dot“ and are among "The New Classics" the 400 best furniture and living accessories.
