BANDAS A GREY CUSHION
BANDAS A GREY CUSHION
This is the A grey cushion, designed as an accessory to the modules and poufs of the Bandas collection.
Its pattern, apparently random, is embroidered and crocheted using white wool yarns of varying thicknesses. As a note of color, the piece is accented with an orange border.
Conceived by Patricia Urquiola, Bandas is one of our more flexible collections, with a modular design open to personalization. A simple velcro system allows the coupling of a series of thin and elongated rugs or bands (hence the name of the collection) to modules that function as seats and poufs, or to each other, forming larger rugs. The embroidery on this cushion is the same as on the runners, making it easy to mix&match.
Bandas cushions can be used as part of a Bandas “space”, configured with the modules of the collection, or to complete a room with a Bandas rug. They can also be purchased individually, as a pop of color.

BANDAS, A GAN SPACES COLLECTION
GAN spaces are collections meticulously constructed from innovative concepts and artisanal production methods. Suggestive approaches that, stemming from a rug, are capable of bringing to life a whole family of modules and accessories with which to design an environment or “space”. A set of designs linked together, designed to project stimulating and contemporary atmospheres with an open, flexible and casual configuration.
FEATURES
Bandas is handcrafted using two types of textiles and techniques: a fine fabric, made on a manual loom, serves both to cover the modules and poufs and as a base for the runners themselves, on which the details are hand-embroidered by artisans from India.
