This can be remedied by using a light shampoo followed by cold water. Avoid aggressive detergents. Wool carpets are naturally oil-repellent and cleaners can destroy or damage the carpet's natural oil.

STAINS DUE TO LIQUIDS
In most cases relating to a spread of liquids on the carpet it is sufficient to pat and wipe a cloth with hot water, without rubbing. If you have used a large amount of water to remove the stain, it is necessary to lift the carpet off the ground to allow it to air and dry quickly by taking air on both sides. You can also use a hair dryer, avoiding that the air jet is too hot so as not to damage the color of the carpet.
MAINTENANCE
Afolki sells Berber carpets treated and cleaned according to the best standards. While using the Berber carpet we suggest following these simple cleaning and storage operations. Berber carpets are very resistant and easy to maintain and care for. Use the vacuum cleaner regularly at moderate speed to remove dust and dirt because this procedure helps regenerate the fibers; use with caution on fringes. In general, it is a good idea to turn it once a year or more frequently in the case of carpets displayed in public places such as hotels and shops and showrooms to prevent the Berber carpet from wearing out abnormally.
