ANIMA TISSUE BOX
ANIMA TISSUE BOX
Designed By Yabu Pushelberg
Designers Glenn Pushelberg and George Yabu describe their Anima collection as the result of applying “the sensibilities of clay to marble”.
A translation of the Italian word for “soul”, it does indeed strip stone down to its true essence, emphasising its sensuousness and spiritual qualities. Gentle, sinuous curves define each piece, from the monumental bathtub to the range of accessories that includes trinket boxes, pots, a tissue box, soap dish, a valet tray and small dishes. The common thread is the gentle form that expresses itself loosely, rather than be constrained by sharp, defined lines and shapes. Available in Bianco Carrara, Crema d’Orcia, Gris du Marais®, Pietra d’Avola and Silk Georgette®.

GOOD TO KNOW
- This tissue box has been treated with a neutral sealer which not only helps protects it from staining, but also ensures it is suitable for use with food.
- Please be aware however, that natural stone will always retain some level of absorption and therefore products with a high acid, fat or oil content should never be placed on it.
- Any liquids should be wiped off as quickly as possible.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
-All our finished products leave our Tuscan premises pre-sealed. Since we do not like to paint the surface of our lovely stones with transparent paints or resins, we apply three coats of the highest possible level of protective sealant. This helps to preserve the product without compromising the wonderful natural look and feel of the stone.
-That said, please bear in mind that there is no sealer on the market that can make natural stone 100% stain proof, especially if you leave the staining agent on it for a prolonged period. The sealant acts as a temporary barrier that allows you to have a few hours between the moment a staining substance (for example, wine or coffee) comes into contact with the stone and the moment you wipe it off. The important thing is to act quickly before a substance is absorbed into the stone, as that is when it causes staining. -Please DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive cleansers, ammonia, bleach, acid or even those “homemade remedies” made from lemon, vinegar and the like. -If you are a particularly assiduous cleaner or you have difficulty removing a mark, you can use specialist stone - cleaning products and, if to set your mind at rest you can periodically apply a new coat of sealant. -For cleaning stone, wood and metal, simply use a soft cloth with water or a neutral detergent.
