It is the moment to slack off and feel free of obligations. Although it sounds like a cliché, the formula “sofa and blanket” can be a good plan. Born Free is the ideal accessory for those lazy days as it is soft, warm and light.

This cozy blanket, illustrated by the Lithuanian artist Egle Zvirblyte, is actually a new concept for very versatile product: it could be a cushion, a throw, a blanket… The user will bring it to life and assign the correct tag for every different moment.

The original and provocative illustration is an expression of Egle´s creative universe, offering a new form of expression when art and industry meet. Its bright colors and feminine silhouette provides us with a good dose of humor for grey days.

"All these characters are part of me. My inspiration comes from my personal experiences, from everywhere if been. It took me a trip around the world to create what I do now."

She is a Lithuanian artist and illustrator based in London. Egle has developed her career as a freelance for customers from publishing, advertising or the music industries; and she spends her spare working on her own artistic pieces.

Her enthusiastic and combative nature – not exempt from humour – is reflected in each of her illustrations. As simple as her work seems, a careful look at her projects reveals messages full of energy and a strong ironic vein.
