The Earth Collection of paper yarn carpets is based on a continuous and natural evolution of Woodnotes paper yarn products.
The collection is an elegant combination of pure natural materials, sophisticated earthy colours and the classic and timeless Woodnotes designs. The new colourways are stone-nutria and graphite grey-nutria.
The Earth Collection strongly reflects the Woodnotes’ spirit of simplicity, harmony and long-lasting functionality. The strength and durability of paper yarn derive directly from wood fibre.
The compactness of the wood fibres and the tight weave of Woodnotes paper yarn carpet ensure that the paper yarn carpet does not gather dust, nor does any dust or fiber come off the carpet, which is an important feature especially for dust allergy sufferers. Materials and dyes are safe for health. The rugs are woven from plant fibers and do not contain any animal-derived finishing materials, so the rugs are 100% vegan.

O SEWN EDGES
- Sizes : Carpets are supplied to order. The maximum width is 250 cm and the maximum length 500 cm.

- Suggested Application : Residential and light contract
The use of non-skid underlay is recommended for carpets without backing. Slight weaving curve might occur in carpets without backing.
S SEWN EDGES AND BACKING
- Sizes : Carpets are supplied to order. The maximum width is 335 cm and the maximum length 1000 cm. Carpets up to 170 cm in width are supplied with anti-slip felt backing. Sizes wider than 170 cm come with normal felt backing. The backing material is 90% recycled polyester.
- Material : 76% paper yarn (weft), 13% cotton (warp), 11% polyester felt (backing)
- Finishing : Sewn edges and turned ends
- Weight : Approx. 2,20 kg / m2 (incl. backing)
- Thickness : 6 mm with felt backing

NON-SKID UNDERLAYS
- The use of non-skid underlay is recommended for rugs without backing. It is delivered according to the size of the rug (maximum width 290 cm).
Our Non-skid underlay is: Materials are 25 % polyolefin and 75% natural latex. / Easy to cut into the desired shapes and sizes. / Suited for all types of floors: wood, laminate, ceramic, marble, cork, etc. / Exceptionally well suited for floors with underfloor heating. / Light-weight and easy to fit. / Washable (30°C). / Environmentally friendly: natural latex, no risk for plasticizer migration. / Increases comfort and extends the life expectancy of your carpet. /
COLORS
LEATHER EDGING
There are 2 colour options available in leather edging. The border measures 4 cm in total of which 1,5 cm is in sight. Leather edging is used for carpets with backing.
PAPER YARN COTTON EDGING
There are 9 colour options available in paper yarn cotton edging. The material composition is 67 % paper yarn (weft) and 33 % cotton (warp). The border measures 12 cm in total of which 6 cm is in sight. Paper yarn edging has been designed for carpets with reversible use as well as for carpets with backing.
COTTON EDGING
There are 13 colour options available in cotton edging. The edging border measures 1 cm in sight. Cotton edging is used for carpets with backing.
