DESIGNER
FERRÉOL BABIN
To create substantial novelties for our clients from start-ups to global players, we combine research, strategy, design as well as magic”, says Sven Rudolph, Carsten Schelling and Ralf Webermann.
It might be wizardry which leads them to their unique fusion of functionality and playfulness, or simply a sharp observational skills couple with a human-cantered approach and a sense for timeless shapes.
No matter if it is an e-bike, an occasional table or a kitchen tool, their pieces subtly interweave contemporary and symbolic aspects always leaving them with a pleasant character. Before the Hannover based trio founded their own studio in 2005, their worked for Marcel Wanders in Amsterdam and Vogt & Weizenegger in Berlin. Since then, they have received many awards and nominations. With pulpo, the designers met while studying, already running their former studio Ding3000.
RSW is now one of the first creatives that pulpo has worked with, a long-lasting collaboration that started in 2010 and continues until nowadays, with their latest pieces Bola, Llano, Maket and Merit, part of the Fabulously Awesome Tablescape collection.
