The easy-care mix and match covers can be ordered separately. Plaids and pouffes are all designed to work beautifully with the Casalis carpet collection.
DESIGNER
LISET VAN DER SCHEER
After graduating from the Design Academy in Eindhoven she has been working as an independent industrial textile designer and colour expert.
'The importance of designing to me lies in marketing a product that adds to the identity that the consumer wishes to convey at a particular moment in time.
In my designs, the challenge lies in applying traditional materials in an innovative way, or in applying new materials to an existing production process. I always try to stretch the bounds of possibility. Looking at colour has become my second nature, and in building designs, be it textiles or carpets, the starting point is always the expression of the yarn'.

KNITTING
It’s 08:40 AM in Flanders
These products are manufactured with a knit and wear machine, which means that different manufacturing procedures are combined into one process : knitting and connecting the knitted pieces can be achieved with only one machine, within a single process. The results are seamless products that only need a very small finish.
COLLECTION
The collection is knitted entirely in merino wool, causing no itchy reactions when touching your skin. Thanks to their long fibers, our Bonnet accessories do not pill, making our products extremely durable.
MERINO WOOL
Casalis selected the wool from the beautiful Merino sheep as the most excellent material for some of our soft furnishing collections. Compared to regular wool, Merino wool feels softer to the skin as fibers are much finer, causing no itchy reactions when touching your skin. This makes Merino wool the ultimate wool for the production of plaids, cushions, and pouffes.
