Designer Aurelien Barbry took inspiration from minimalist and brut architecture.
The special feature is that the blocks can be combined in different ways. With Brik, you can create your own candlelight landscape.
Each piece of the candleholder is made of aluminum and coated with 24 carat gold. The massive golden appearance is a real eye-catcher in an exclusive interior.
Brik is characterized by its timeless design and versatility and is handcrafted in Germany.
The individual and precisely crafted blocks are packed side by side in a small, flat cardboard box, so that only little space is needed during transport.
DESIGNER
AURÉLIEN BARBRY
The French industrial designer, who lives and works in Copenhagen and New York, is known for his countless creations for renowned Scandinavian tableware and furniture brands, that speak a pure and simplistic aesthetic language with a recognizable identity. The french Industrial designer was born in 1969 in Paris and lives and works in Copenhagen and New York.
After graduating from Camondo School in Paris in 1997 with honnors with a master in industrial & interior desig, he worked for Pritzker prize winning architect Jean Nouvel from 1997 to 2006 as head of projects. Aurelien Barbry studio was founded in 2007 in Paris and in Copenhagen in 2008.
His work includes many collaborations with well acclaimed international Scandinavian brands in industrial product, furniture and lighting and interior design projects in Hong Kong and Copenhagen.
