DETAIL
Stella vase was born from the exploration of a shooting star’s irregular shape and therefore angles, as well as the significance of actually witnessing its swift and occasional passage across the night sky. This is Jimena’s first 3D printed design piece, presented with Movimento during Milan’s Salone del Mobile 2023.

DESIGNER - JIMENA MONTEMAYOR
Jimena Montemayor de la Bárcena (b.1990) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Mexico City. Her work focuses on graphic explorations by manipulating straight, patterned lines and puzzling structures to convey a responsive and visual dialogue.
Using digital and analogue formats from 2D drawings to tridimensional and sculptural pieces, Montemayor’s work has taken part in a variety of exhibitions, features and collaborations in Mexico and Internationally within the contemporary art and design fields.
