BOCHART DEEP NOIR RUG
Design by Pascale Risbourg
The Deep rug, a creation by Pascale Risbourg, redefines the conventions of interior decoration. This black hand-tufted wool and polyester rug is an ode to finesse and intensity, celebrating the splendor of shadow and enigma.
ach strand of this rug reflects the devotion and know-how of Pascale Risbourg, an artist dedicated to the discovery of shapes, textures and nuances. The Deep rug is the culmination of his work in sculpture and ceramics, blending his artistic talents to create a memorable work.
It skillfully plays with matte and glossy shades, providing a captivating contrast that demands attention and encourages reflection. The dark tones of the carpet are reminiscent of a mysterious ocean, evoking a starry night or the sea abysses.

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner without brush.
HAND TUFTED
The drawing is printed on a canvas, stretched over a frame. The threads are stitched into this canvas by a gun, either manual or electric, to form the velvet. This velvet is shaved, inspected. The backrest is glued with latex to maintain the velvet, then protected by canvas or mesh. It takes approximately 3 days to tuft a rug, then 3 days for latexing and drying and finally 4 to 5 days for all the finishing touches.
MATERIAL & MAINTENANCE - MATTER 60% WOOL 40% VEGETABLE SILK
Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator.
The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent and plenty of water.
However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years. Combined with other fibers such as wool, viscose will gain strength while maintaining a shiny effect. Depending on the nature of the plants used, viscose will take the name Tencel based on eucalyptus, bamboo or banana fiber depending on the origins.
