PABLO AUTOMNE RUG
PABLO AUTOMNE RUG
Design By Toulemonde Bochart
The multicolored hand-tufted wool rug, named Pablo and designed by Florence Bourel, stands out as an authentic artistic creation in the field of textiles.
It transcends its initial vocation to become a true celebration of cubist art, with vibrant shades of beige enhanced by touches of duck blue.
This rug highlights the talent of artisan weavers, where the luxurious texture of the velvet blends with the complexity of the patterns to create a truly captivating visual experience.
Furthermore, the choice of local wool, spun and woven in India, not only has a positive impact on the environment by reducing the carbon footprint, it also gives the rug exceptional quality and durability.

MANUFACTURING (HAND WOVEN)
The drawing is printed on a canvas, stretched over a frame. The threads are stitched into this canvas by a gun, either manual or electric, to form the velvet. This velvet is shaved, inspected. The backrest is glued with latex to maintain the velvet, then protected by canvas or mesh. It takes approximately 3 days to tuft a rug, then 3 days for latexing and drying and finally 4 to 5 days for all the finishing touches.

MAINTENANCE
Matter 100% Wool
Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent using plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years.
