MATERIAL & MAINTENANCE - MATTER 100% WOOL
Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent using plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years.
DESIGNER - FLORENCE BOUREL
Florence Bourel's first collections combine graphic and refined lines, raw materials, colorful vibrations and traditional weaving techniques, in an “artisanal” spirit. Shaped by a solid training in product design as well as interior architecture or scenography, she uses her mixed heritage from Brittany and Africa to create her style where color and timeless and contemporary graphics emerge.
