NATURAL AMBER RUG
NATURAL AMBER RUG
Design By Toulemonde Bochart
The natural Amber rug is characterized by its sophisticated simplicity.
It features a pattern inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, which highlights the delicacy of broken ceramics, symbolizing the durability of the creation. Handmade in wool and viscose, it features fluid, organic curves in hues of white and gold, offering an aesthetic that is both clean and refined.
This rug skillfully plays with color contrast and the juxtaposition of matte and gloss. Available in classic sizes, it is also available as a hallway rug or bedside rug.
For maintenance, this hand-tufted beige wool and viscose rug simply requires regular cleaning by vacuuming without brushing, supplemented by a thorough wash carried out by a professional approximately every 4 years, depending on its use.

MANUFACTURING (HAND WOVEN)
The drawing is printed on a canvas, stretched over a frame. The threads are stitched into this canvas by a gun, either manual or electric, to form the velvet. This velvet is shaved, inspected. The backrest is glued with latex to maintain the velvet, then protected by canvas or mesh. It takes approximately 3 days to tuft a rug, then 3 days for latexing and drying and finally 4 to 5 days for all the finishing touches.
MAINTENANCE
Matter 100% Wool
Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator.
The wool's scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent using plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years.
