With Bowl, designers Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson set out to achieve the seemingly impossible
How, they asked, can you balance a sphere on a flat surface? Because Bowl is glass, you can see the ingenuity of their solution: to nestle the sphere inside a ring.
Bowl almost hovers above a table. This ethereal piece comes in three rich colors: brown, green, and pink.

Winners of numerous design awards, Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson met while on staff at Ikea.
Lagerman had studied at Stockholm’s Konstfackskolan and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, while Johansson graduated from the HDK-School of Design and Craft at Gothenburg University. The two maintain their own practices but collaborate frequently, creating playful yet spare furniture, lighting, accessories, and bathroom fixtures for wide range of manufacturers.
