Fontane Bianche Italian wall hooks in natural stone
Almost too beautiful to cover up
The elegance of the Fontane Bianche wall hooks comes not only from the design itself but also from the fact that each hook is created from a single piece of marble with no joins to interrupt its pure form.
Available in a range of colours and stone types — white Bianco Carrara, creamy Botticino, opulent Verde Alpi and dapply grey Gris du Marais® — these understated hooks add a flourish of sophistication to any room.
The Fontane Bianche Collection was created as a set for the bathroom, featuring trays, soap dishes, toothbrush holders, mirrors and towel rings, which together spotlight the complementary materials’ elegant nature.
DESIGNER
ELISA OSSINO
Elisa Ossino is a Sicilian-born, Milan-based designer and architect who has collaborated with Salvatori for a number of years, creating with us a host of collections that embrace the world of interior design in its entirety.
Collections such as the Proiezione series of tables, the enduringly popular Omaggio a Morandi decorative pieces and Intarsi family of wall art all bear her hallmark elegance and deft touch.
Among the most recent work we have undertaken together is Utopia, her trio of miniature houses as part of The Village, a multi-designer initiative that explores the concept of home as a haven, interpreted in a contemporary key.
small-scale replica of the multi-cultural, eclectic world we inhabit, the series of diminutive sculptures inject a sense of familiarity and intimacy into any room of a home.
Elisa studied at Politecnico di Milano. In 2006, she founded Elisa Ossino Studio, focusing on residential and retail interiors, product design, art direction and set design.
Her work combines geometric abstraction, monochromes, metaphysical and surrealist references, creating a coherent and allusive relationship between light, objects and space, identified by the strong feature of her sign.
To inspire Elisa’s compositional style is a figure of scenic suspension, recurring in the weightless design of each intervention. Essential lines and geometries are the distinctive features of her designs, giving a profoundly theatrical feeling to the space they are located in.
Her works have been published in Italy and abroad and exhibited in prestigious locations and galleries. In 2016, some of her design projects were exhibited at “W-Women in Italian Design” for the 9th edition of the Triennale Design Museum.
Over the years she has received several national and international awards including an EDIDA 2020 – Elle Deco International Design Award in the ‘Best bathroom’ category with Balnea designed for Salvatori.
In 2019 and 2020 she was named among the ‘Top 100 Interior Designers of the year’ by AD. In addition to her studio activity, Elisa Ossino pursues a host of other initiatives, including Nume, a childrens’ design brand she co-created in 2004 and for which she designed the furniture collection.
In 2010, she set up with others Officina Temporanea, a project that connects design and artistic expression, identifying social issues as one of the main areas of interest. In 2019 she co-founded H+O, a brand dedicated to surface design, exhibitions and multidisciplinary installations that explore new languages for interiors and contemporary lifestyles.
The same year she inaugurated an apartment gallery located in the historic Brera district of Milan. Since 2016 she has been teaching at the IUAV University of Venice in the “Interactive Media for Interior Design” Master’s course. Among the directions that she has recently impressed on her work lies a renovated interest for visual arts and multimedia’s potential linguistics.
INFORMATION
WOOD
Please avoid using detergents on wood and always dry it carefully after cleaning to prevent streaks or patches forming. Remember that wood is a natural material and can be delicate and photosensitive. Exposure to light, heat or damp may cause slight discolouration or minor adjustments in size, but this is entirely normal and shouldn’t be considered a defect.
DETAIL
We believe even the smallest item is worthy of great design, and these wall hooks by Elisa Ossino are testament to how an eye for detail can transform the simplest accessory into a work of art. The starting point is a single block of natural stone that is carved to reveal the bold, yet delicate form of each hook, available in three sizes.

Bianco Carrara
EMBODIES THE CONCEPT
With no joins to interrupt the stone’s natural patterns and veining, each piece becomes an elegant mini-sculpture in which the stone itself is the hero. The simplicity of form, combined with the glorious tones of the stone, creates an object that embodies the concept of function and form. Practical but stylish, it almost seems a shame to cover it up!

PACKAGING
All our smaller accessories are presented in exclusive white packaging designed not only to protect its precious contents during transit, but also to create an elegant aesthetic. We feel privileged to work with natural stone, an incredible gift of Nature, and in turn, we want you to feel as though you are opening a gift when a Salvatori parcel arrives.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
All our finished products leave our Tuscan premises pre-sealed. Since we do not like to paint the surface of our lovely stones with transparent paints or resins, we apply three coats of the highest possible level of protective sealant. This helps to preserve the product without compromising the wonderful natural look and feel of the stone.
That said, please bear in mind that there is no sealer on the market that can make natural stone 100% stain proof, especially if you leave the staining agent on it for a prolonged period. The sealant acts as a temporary barrier that allows you to have a few hours between the moment a staining substance (for example, wine or coffee) comes into contact with the stone and the moment you wipe it off.
The important thing is to act quickly before a substance is absorbed into the stone, as that is when it causes staining. Please DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive cleansers, ammonia, bleach, acid or even those “homemade remedies” made from lemon, vinegar and the like.
If you are a particularly assiduous cleaner or you have difficulty removing a mark, you can use specialist stone cleaning products and, if to set your mind at rest you can periodically apply a new coat of sealant. For cleaning stone, wood and metal, simply use a soft cloth with water or a neutral detergent.
