DESIGNER
CARLOTTA MANZONI
Born in 1991, Carlotta Manzoni graduated from the Liceo Artistico Preziosissimo Sangue in Monza, and then enrolled at the Politecnico di Milano to obtain a degree in Architectural Design in 2014.
Three years later, she completed his master's degree, graduating with honours in Construction Architecture. Her thesis on the extension of Harvard University in Cambridge was nominated for the "Best Thesis of the Year 2017" award instituted by the Association of Architects of Milan.
During her studies, she was lucky enough to be a student of Professor Michele De Lucchi and to attend Product Design courses. As her first professional experience, she did an internship at the Cibic Workshop studio of designer Aldo Cibic.
Having always been fascinated by the world of architecture, she explains her vocation with an anecdote from her childhood: when asked "Why do you want to do architecture and not design?" she replied "Because first I build the house, then I furnish it."
Over time, she has collaborated on various interior design projects for private residences and offices. She recently took part in the renovation project for Bianca, a five-star hotel located on Lake Annone, and created exclusive products for Bodema..

INFORMATION NOTES
Natural fiber rugs such as WOOL and VISCOSE are normally subject to the loss of small quantities of fiber, especially during the first period of use. This phenomenon known as peeling will decrease over time but will not disappear definitively. This is considered a natural feature of natural fiber rugs and is not a defect.

DESIGN
Designed exclusively for Bodema, the Fullprint is a truly unique, handmade accessory created to last. It is ideal to complete a sofa, a set of armchairs, a conversation area, a comfortable bedroom, or below a dining table.
THE PROCESS
In Tibet is used an exclusive carpet weaving technique. While warping is at the same time used a stick to determine the pile height. A continuous thread is constantly wrapped around two threads of the wrap and later one time around the stick. When the entire thread line is completed, they are cutting to be knotted.
MAINTENANCE OF WOOL CARPET
-For cleaning, regularly vacuum the carpets with a suitable appliance capable of removing the dust deposited on the surface, such as carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner or similar. Adjust if possible the height of the brushes according to the height of the carpet surface. Pay attention to the edges, avoiding to insist on them with the roller or the wheels of the machine. -Wipe the carpet and fringes with a cloth moistened with a solution of cold water and a mild liquid soap or carpet detergent. Never use solvents or aggressive products, which would definitively damage the carpet fibers.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Manufactured in India, Fullprint rugs are hand-knotted at 40 knots per square inch, or 62,000 knots per square metre. The knot used is the so-called Tibetan or asymmetrical knot. This ancient weaving technique is unique in the world. A rod is temporarily placed in front of the warp along the entire length of the carpet. A continuous thread is wound around two threads of the warp and then once around the rod. When an entire line is completed, the threads around the rod are cut to create the knots and pile. The result is a high density of knots, which make the rug very wear resistant.
