Eco-sustainable, materical, precious: BUSH ON is the first collection of outdoor planters proposed by RODA.
Born from the creative hand of Gordon Guillaumier, this series of vases stands out for its extra large dimensions and the characteristic hourglass shape. A very special texture makes this collection extremely pleasant to the touch.
DESIGNER
GORDON GUILLAUMIER
A Malta-born designer educated in Malta, Switzerland, England and Italy, where he graduated in industrial design at the Istituto Europeo di Design and obtained a master’s degree in industrial design at the Domus Academy.
In 2002 he founded Studio Gordon Guillaumier in Milan and started to design products for international companies, ranging from upholstered furniture to ceramics.
His work also includes artistic direction and interior design through an approach that combines balance with attention for visual, tactile and textural aspects.
Gordon Guillaumier’s awards include the Wallpaper Design Award 2014, an honourable mention for the XXIV Compasso d’Oro in 2016, the ADI Ceramic Design Award 2016, and a NYCxDesign Award 2019.
He lectured at Milan Polytechnic, Faculty of Industrial Design, and at Abadir Design Academy. He is part of RODA’s team for artistic direction.

Both planters as a design tribute to an entirelynatural and ecologically sustainable material. Made inhigh-quality expanded black cork, they are distinguishedby balanced volumes and attentively clean lines.
Withtastefulness and simplicity, three different hour-glassshapes are given two sizes, ready to be used singly orcombined harmoniously to host and flatter plants and flowers.
Pleasant to the touch thanks their specialtexture. Coated on the inside with water-repellent natural rubber, these vases catch the eye as unusual decorative elements with great character for green living.
