BJORN DAHLSTROM
Björn Dahlström (b. 1957) is a leading Swedish contemporary designer known internationally for his contributions in furniture and industrial design.
Dahlström’s designs stand out for their stark graphics and the distinct way that they express soft and fundamental forms.
He has designed a wide range of products including carpets, bicycles, toys, furniture and housewares for renowned companies such as Cbi, Atlas Copco, Magis and Kasthall.
Amongst the numerous accolades Dahlström has received for his work, he inaugurated the prestigious Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize for design in 2001.
Dahlström’s Tools Collection for Iittala is a collection of pans and casseroles developed together with prominent chefs while his HotCool range combines function, practicality and stylish design.

Developed with the insight of professional chefs and material know-how, Tools offer a broad range of cookware to add ease and design pleasing to the eye to all areas of cooking and serving. Tools is made of fine stainless steel which is remarkably easy to clean.
The saucepans and casseroles feature tight-fitting lids and have measuring marks etched on their interiors. The lid is designed with a little notch to allow steam to escape while cooking. Tools also features a multi-layer technique of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel which is excellent for even heat distribution. Suitable for all hobs.
