DESIGNER
MARCO CAPETO
Marco Capeto, an interior and product designer, graduated with a degree in Interior Design from IED in Milan, where he presented a co-housing project as his final product, which was selected for exhibition by the institute.
His interests range from interior design to graphics, from industrial design to product design, from architectural design to industrial design.
A minimalist and perfectionist, he is constantly focused on research and a careful study of detail, which, inspired by the magical landscapes of Puglia, he translates into his aesthetic creations. He loves working directly with materials to understand their essence and be able to shape them in the best possible way.
His design philosophy can be summed up in one sentence:
"A design object is the fruit of the joint effort of many people with different specific technical, industrial, commercial, and aesthetic skills. The designer's work is the expressive synthesis of this collective effort. What characterizes design is precisely the ongoing relationship between many stakeholders, from the entrepreneur to the lowest worker." AC
His products have been exhibited, among other places, at the Milan Triennale.
He has collaborated with Officine Tamborrino since the brand's inception, for which, in addition to designing some of the collection's most iconic products, he oversees product and collection development.
