The forerunner of a successful collection of desk accessories, it houses pens and pencils with an elegantly technical perforated design, perfectly suited to both the office and the home.

DESIGNER

RAUL BARBIERI - GIORGIO MARIANELLI

Born in Milan in 1946 and Castiglioncello in the province of Livorno in 1939, respectively, they graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan, where Marianelli moved in 1968 to work in the Olivetti industrial design department, directed by Ettore Sottsass.

There, he met Raul Barbieri, and together in 1974, they founded the firm Barbieri e Marianelli Architetti, which designed the first iconic Rexite products, such as the Safe Tray ashtray, the Cribbio wastebasket, and the Aiuto coat rack.

In 1990, Marianelli opened his own architecture and design studio and collaborated with Italy's most renowned design firms.

Many of his projects received major international awards. Giorgio Marianelli passed away in 1998.
