Stocky, bulky and bold, Bronto tableware is a pleasing handful of ceramics.
An ample mug and chunky espresso cup are immediately recognizable by their uncommonly fat handles. A side plate and bowl’s rounded edges and nonchalant shapes follows suit. Even the smallest of the Bronto family, an eggcup, has serious chunk.

Supergroup is a collaboration between ceramic artist Ian McIntyre and illustrator John Booth.
Although at first it may seem like their work is informed by different points of view, these two artists have been exploring their common creative ground in their London studio for some time now.
Amongst these is a shared appreciation for accessible design and works that have transparency; with John this is reflected in his unpretentious illustrative hand and for Ian in utilitarian and functional forms. Supergroup is the formal coming together of these two makers and the platform from which Ian and John will present their future collaborations, whilst simultaneously continuing their own practices.
