The Teema 21 cm plate in rose brings a soft, contemporary warmth to the iconic collection.
Designed in the early 1950s, Teema transformed Finnish table settings with its clean lines, solid colours and modular approach.
Instead of traditional ornate dishware, Teema offered a flexible system where shapes and colours could be combined to suit any occasion. The 21 cm plate is a versatile everyday piece, ideal for breakfasts, light meals or desserts.
The rose shade adds a gentle, modern accent that pairs beautifully with both neutral and bold Teema colours, encouraging playful and personal combinations. Perfect pair also to Teema vintage Rose colour.

Kaj Franck (1911-1989) is known as the “conscience of Finnish design.
Franck grew up in a world with elaborate dining services to sparse stone dishes. During his significant career, Franck asserted himself between the two extremes and profoundly changed our understanding of tableware.
He utilized serial production to produce versatile, practical dishware at a reasonable price. Besides social consciousness, Franck’s distinct career was guided by the desire to seek the essential. He studied basic forms endlessly with special focus on proportions.
Franck has designed a range of tableware products for Iittala with his Teema Collection, Kartio Collection and Scandia Collection.
