CRIBBIO WASTE BASKET
CRIBBIO WASTE BASKET
Designed by Raul Barbieri - Giorgio Marianelli
Designed in 1981, this unique technical marvel is made without weld joints from a single sheet of steel that is drawn and radially perforated, for lightness and quality that are still unparalleled.

RAUL BARBIERI - GIORGIO MARIANELLI
Born in 1946 in Milan and in 1939 in Castiglioncello, in the Province of Livorno, respectively, both graduate with a degree in Architecture from Politecnio di Milano, the city into which Marianelli moves in 1968 to work at the Olivetti Industrial Design Department directed by Ettore Sottsass.
There he meets Raul Barbieri and with him in 1974 he establishes the Barbieri e Marianelli Architetti studio, which signs the first, iconic Rexite products, such as the Safe Tray ashtray, the Cribbio waste basket and the Aiuto coat stand.
