Cat scratching furniture is essential for those who wish to save their sofa from destruction, and now finally MiaCara presents a stylish cat scratching post you will be delighted to have in your home.
Designed by Dutch designer Regina Mol, the Torre Cat Scratching Post features a massive base plate made from wood to ensure stability, a large curved plywood panel which is covered in durable design felt to offer plenty of scratching space for your cat to sharpen their claws, and on top, the elevated sleeping area gives your feline friend the perfect all-round view. Cushions in faux fur are sold separately.

Regina Mol’s designs are inspired by the creativity of our daily lives.
Optimism as a ritual, open-mindedness and the love for life are the basic ingredients she works with.
Regina does a lot of research to find the perfect pet products. She is inspired by the Dutch ethnologist and Nobel prize winner Niko van Tinbergen (1907-1988).
He studied communication behaviour amongst animals by going into the open field, watching closely, and asking the right questions before interpreting. Van Tinbergen called this watching, waiting & wondering.
Everyday she keeps experimenting in her lab to design new products for cats and dogs by observing them and looking at their reactions to particular materials and designs. And everyday she learns more about them.

With Torre, our Dutch designer Regina Mol has succeeded in designing a piece of furniture that, thanks to its reduced form, blends harmoniously into any living ambience.
CARE
- Body : If necessary, wipe wooden body with a damp cloth.
- Scratch panel : Use the brush of a vacuum cleaner to clean the design felt. Please do not use water or any liquid detergents.
