It’s no secret that cats love to climb, especially indoor cats that don’t have access to trees outside.
Cats are territorial and love to observe their surroundings from above. With the Gradino wall nest, you can design your very own cat wall with space for your cat to climb, sleep or simply keep watch over their kingdom.
Mounted on the wall in a few simple steps, the Gradino cat nest is made of high-quality rope mesh. The minimalist design offers a new favourite place for your cat to linger and observe.
DESIGNER
MATHIAS DE FERM
Mathias De Ferm is a product and furniture designer from Antwerp, Belgium.
Collaborating with internationally renowned brands, his work includes furniture, kitchenware, barbecues and timber buildings for the outdoors. He founded his own design company in 2010.
Mathias studied product development at the Hogeschool Antwerpen and furniture design at the Katholieke Hogeschool Mechelen.
Eager to learn more about materials and techniques, he earned additional degrees in metalwork and carpentry. An internship at design firm Extremis provided further insight into the full course of a production process: from the first sketch to the final product.
Added value is a simple but key principle in his design approach. What is a product used for? How can it improve someone’s daily life? Vital questions that lead to innovative ideas: from improving a small feature to rethinking an entire product category.

Gradino combines particularly robust materials and a minimalist design in one product.
SAFETY INFORMATIO
Gradino must be permanently and securely attached to the wall. Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional, as improper installation may result in the furniture falling and causing injuries and damages. Check the suitability of the wall material to ensure it can withstand the weight load.
The supplied plugs and screws are only suitable for brick walls. If the walls are made of plaster, concrete, or other materials, consult your dealer to select the appropriate screws and plugs for Gradino. The maximum load per module is 7 kilograms.
