The iconic Persian rug design is brought up to date with the addition of bright polka dots in this new range of tufted rugs by Mineheart.
The contrast of the traditional winding woven floral motifs with the bright geometric pops of colour creates a 21st century take on this classic design. Dusky pink is the ‘new neutral’ with many interior designers using it to provide a warm backdrop to a whole range of colours. Here it works beautifully with the deep purple spots that bring flashes of richness to the design and accentuate the exquisite twisting stems and delicate flowers.

BRENDAN YOUNG AND VANESSA BATTAGLIA
Anglo-italian design duo brendan young and vanessa battaglia are the founding directors of mineheart, they also run their own renowned design consultancy, working on projects for many international clients including audi, John Lewis, next and aeon.
They began working together in 2003 under the name studiomold with their first collection of furniture using re-appropriated materials. This included the award winning 'recycled sound' system made from old vinyl records and 'love' furniture using reject tennis balls which became part of the permanent collection at the moma in Monaco.
Since then the couple have gone on to work for many UK and international clients designing furniture, lighting, sculptures and interiors, as well as art direction and packaging.
Their playful philosophy and innovative use of materials and imagery has LED them to work on an extremely wide variety of design projects and win several design awards.
They have attracted international recognition through many exhibitions worldwide including New York, Milan, Tokyo, Paris and London. Their work has also been published in books, most leading design magazines, and selected for prestigious shows and collections such as the v&a and the moma.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning : We recommend using a vacuum cleaner to treat the carpet surface regularly.
If dirt is left on the carpet, use special cleaning powder or consult your local cleaning company. Because the bottom is a cotton cloth, it is not recommended to wash in the washing machine to avoid shrinkage of the cotton cloth.
