Daiku is a picture frame that beautifully combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with clean Nordic design.
Designed by Gejst Design & Amalie Bergholdt, the frame is inspired by centuries-old Japanese woodworking techniques such as Kumiko and Sashimono, giving the impression of a seamless construction without visible joints.
Named after the Japanese word for carpenter, Daiku reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail.
Crafted from solid oak and featuring floating glass panels, Daiku creates the illusion that artwork is suspended within the frame.
