With its refined presence and timeless spirit, the DUO Valet Stand is the ideal companion for those who love beauty in detail, transforming the simple act of putting down a coat or jacket into a ritual of care and harmony.

Signed by Roberto Lazzeroni, this elegant tripod valet stand stands out for its perfectly balanced design between aesthetics and practicality of clear oriental inspiration.

The supporting structure is made of solid ash and is composed of a rear upright that forks into two parts to support a clothes hanger, while the two front uprights accommodate a trouser rack, finely wrapped in 201 Testa di Moro leather.

Valet Stand also features a lower top available in two finishes: coloured glass with an ash frame or a total marble version in calacatta marble; a silent base that lends elegance and character to the entire structure.

DESIGNER

ROBERTO LAZZERONI

Roberto Lazzeroni, born in Pisa, began his professional life with the study of art and architecture in Florence and the interests he developed during his training, in particular in the conceptual art and radical design movements.

In the early 1980s, Lazzeroni made his professional debut with a series of important works in the field of “interior architecture” that immediately attracted attention and were published in Italian and foreign periodicals.

Lazzeroni considers “interior architecture” to be a necessary discipline, a sort of “training field” in which to glean varied experience in materials, techniques, and problems inherent to design in the home. A fundamental step for anyone approaching the world of product design.

Receptive to the history of design and its “signs,” with a personal stylistic flair that Lazzeroni spontaneously defines as “sentimental design.” It is in fact easy even for the non-expert eye to sense the link between past and future in Roberto Lazzeroni’s projects: This is design that does not parade industrial geometries, but neither does it embody frivolous affectations of aestheticism; it gives objects their correct places in history, in tradition, in an individual and collective autobiography.

Lazzeroni’s peculiar understanding of design led him to specialize in concept development: the ideas underlying the creation of new trademarks.

The Cecotti Collection experience, begun in 1988, has since been flanked by work with other companies. Roberto Lazzeroni’s life in design is a highly dynamic professional itinerary that, today, sees him involved in many areas, including design collaboration with prestigious firms, art direction, and interior and contract design in many parts of the world.

TOTAL SEMI-GLOSS CALACATTA MARBLE TOP

Semi-gloss Calacatta Marble Top That Rests Directly On The Structure Thanks To Spacers. The Lightened Marble Shelf Is 20mm Thick And Is Treated Superficially With A Protective Water-repellent Solution Which Gives It A More Natural Look. The Edge Of The Top Is Rounded.

The spacers that lift the top compared to the structure, the central tie rod and the tops of the uprights are made of brushed bronzed brass.

TOP

The solid ash frame acts as a border for coloured glass top flush with the solid ash frame. Alternatively it is possible to include the version with marble top.

LEATHER CORD

Mignon with oval section 3.5mm in natural leather 201 Testa di Moro, wrapped around the trouser hanger in solid ash wood.
