Base was designed in 2009 as a protective accessory for the Kubus and Line candle holders, to protect surfaces from damage from dripping wax.
Base beautifully frames a candle holder, emphasising its simple design, and has been created with the greatest respect for Mogens Lassen – both as an architect and a designer.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
The base is made from a 2 mm steel plate, that is laser cut into the right dimension. Afterwards 6 × 6 mm steel bars are welded on the plate before the base is degreased and powder coated.
